Green Spaces

This project based in south Bristol aims to improve local plots of land within the area and so three schools took part in creating a piece of mosaic art for these three areas:

  • Cherry Tree Garden sign by Saint Mary's Primary School.
  • Dean Lane Community Garden paving slabs by Holy Cross Primary School.
  • Hollidge Gardens Wildlife Triangle sign by Southville Primary School.

Whitehall Primary School, Univercity Of The First Age Challenge.

Over a week of the Summer Holidays 20 children took part in this challenge to create, "The Studio!!" name for their art building, a Numeracy and Literacy Grid and the school name and logo. Plus a mosaic mirror and picture frame to take home. Whitehall Primary School

Southside Community & Youth Partnership Hot Air Balloons.

The idea behind this project was to bring as many of the youth groups and organisations together to create their own hot air balloon, which when completed would be placed in Victoria Park. A Hopscotch For Clarence Park In Weston-Super-Mare.

Working with North Somerset Rangers to run a one day workshop in the park for families to create mosaiced paving slabs to be placed in the park. One parent even rang the local radio station and raved on about it this activity and how good it was to see something like this in her local park.
